About this log I'm a graphic designer/web developer/illustrator living outside Baltimore, Maryland. I decided in March of 2001 to start an online log of information and links, primarily for myself, but also readable by other folks if they wanted to. Since that time, it's evolved into a catalog of information, links, and observations that I use as a sounding board, journal, and file cabinet. As of this writing, it contains entries for pretty much every weekday from March 2001, with the exception of June 2001, when I was laid off and did not have the heart to look at computers very much, and a period in late May of 2002 when server issues brought me down. I've kept it decidedly low-tech for a couple of reasons, mostly financial and technical. You will notice a change in formats throughout the log, if you care to look; I settled on a format that seemed to work well in about September of 2002 or so, from a visual and logical standpoint. Further edits will follow, but for now, it's pretty basic. This site is powered by HTML alone, created on a Powerbook G3, and the photos are taken with a —March 17, 2004 |
